Greencastle Golf Club Tweed - Designed by Elsie Tweed and inspired by the striking landscape of Greencastle Golf Club, this bespoke tweed captures the spirit of the course and the coastal beauty of Lough Foyle. Expertly woven in Donegal from 100% merino lambswool and hand-finished in Greencastle, every detail tells a story. The circular woven pattern reflects the game of golf itself, inspired by the shape of golf balls, while deep navy through to light blue weft tones mirror the changing waters of Lough Foyle. Two rich green shades represent the fairways and greens, a single dash of white symbolises the guiding flags, and varying band widths echo the unique distances between each hole—creating a distinctive design that weaves the essence of Greencastle into every thread.
Randox Health Dundarave Estate, Bushmills -
One most memorable project was for Dundarave Estate, the stunning property owned by the Fitzgerald family in Bushmills. We created a custom family tweed inspired by the pheasant, reflecting the beauty and heritage of the estate. This bespoke design was woven and handmade into a variety of products, from made-to-measure gamekeeper suits to ties, cushions, and even dear stalker hats.
