This scarf has a whimsical story behind it. Much like Willy Wonka himself— who saw the world not as it was, but as it could be — this scarf invites you to find wonder in the everyday, a reminder that “a little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.”

Inspired by childhood visits to Bunratty Folk Park in Co.Claire and the magic of Ireland’s traditional sweet shops, Rhubarb & Custard Treat celebrates the joy of simple pleasures. The playful mix of golden yellows, soft oranges, and candy pinks takes its cue from my favourite rhubarb & custard sweets — a nostalgic nod to carefree days the simple joy of getting sweets weighed and handed to you in a brown paper bag. 
Woven in an ornate diamond lift pattern, the design carries a timeless charm reminiscent of handcrafted textiles from another era, yet with a bright, contemporary spirit.

NOTE: We sell two sized scarves—standard size 11” scarf and 17” oversized scarf that can double up as a wrap in summer. See image or get in touch if you want more information.
Also, each scarf is hand cut and sewn so there may be slight colour variations from images above.

Care instructions: We recommend dry cleaning only. However, pure wool and lambswool can be steamed. If it gets very wet, please dry in open air. Do not tumble dry.
